Engine TRD CAI for 04 S

    TRD CAI for 04 S

    does the TRD cold air intake fit the Corolla S? Some say it won't but I have seen a couple S with em.

    I talked to my Toyota dealer and they said the TRD CAI can only be fit on CE and LE and not the S :( I was so ticked off that I siad what is the point of having a CAI when it does not fit the sport model???

    it does fit but the fog light gets in the way so you have to make a dent in the air filter.

    Someone told me to just slide the filter up the tube a few inches so it will fit.. is this true?

    Yes. I have TRD CAI on my 04 S. Fits fine, just have to shift filter slightly upwards. Love it.

    I also heard of ppl denting the filter slightly to make it fit. There are a ton of ppl out there running the TRD CAI on their S, so it can be done. Good luck!

    buy a new steeless Air fliter smaller and perfect fit, however suck alot of dust. :p change oil offten. but does help your RPM rip faster
