Bringing the best of both worlds into one package. Automakers are always copying each other to keep up with the trends.

Very True, I was just praying that no one would bash me for my comments regarding Honda hehehe, But i agree, you do see alot of similarities between all car companies.

i was actually reading this article about the tC. Toyota based the tC on the Euro-spec Avensis chassis. But more importantly, they really did look up to european designing for the tC. Toyota's cool like that. Why not admire other successful car designers, especially the Euro's who do a great job. The headlight design were imported from the new BMW designs. The roofline is that of the Audi TT. The panoramic sunroof is that of the Mercedes Benz C-Class Coupe, and the rear end is that of the Audi A4. They say that the front fascia is the most original of all the exterior components of the tC, but it sorta reminds me of a Subaru though.

the interior though is extraordinary. the Center console is definitely KICK@$$!!! the rear seats recline, the front seats can even recline to make a flat surface with the rear seat. the metallic guages match the metallic console during the day, and at night, the guages illuminate orange like that of the BMW. the climate control is really sweet! it has a touch of Lexus to it.

and most importantly, you can get one for under $16,000. the 17" rims come stock(which arent that bad at all), 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS. I just can't wait to see a tC with the supercharger... to haul all 2,905 lbs(Manual) of it. Add 65 lbs for the Auto.

Scion tC.... i VOTE for best car this year so far, and prolly would be for the whole year. and it's definitely gonna be this year's Best bang for the buck Coupe.

That car looks hot with those wheels... supposedly the "new" 18" TRD wheels for the TC weigh the same as the stock 17" wheels.. :D

no the optional 18's weigh as much as the factory 17's......the TRD wheels are heavier.
This car already has 4 wheel options
    factory 17's
    optional 18's
    TRD 18's
    TRD 19's

It is 5x100. There's a tC in the parking lot here so I went out and measured the bolt circle.
