Engine Transmission Question

I can't figure out this new layout quite just yet, plus I don't want to resurrect an old thread if this has been done somewhere else already. I want to go from an automatic to a manual tranny in my car. I doubt I would do most of the work myself, but I would do a lot of it, I know a guy to help me out. I'm wondering what all the parts are that I will need, what needs to be done et cetera, maybe there is a write-up someone else has done already. I think a guy on Toyotanation did it I can't remember. Any help would be awesome.
