    Transmission fluid dipstick?

I'm frickin' blind and dumb as hell. I can find the dipstick to check my trans fluid. Also, where do I fill the trans fluid? I want to empty it and replace it with some synthetic fluids. Thanks for any help.

It is orange and right by the battery. You fill up with a funnel into that tube where the dipstick is at.

Well the way how I checked it was open up the fill plug and put my finger inside. If it's near the hole, then you're ok. If it's not then you're supposed to fill until the fluid starts to leak out.

well on a 00, the dipstick right infront of the intake(near the throttle body, infront of coolant resevoir, adjacent to battery)-for automatics... the fluid should be red and should only be check right after driving for a little while and while the engine is running...if it reaches the hot mark, your good... oh and BLADDERMASTER, that technique is to check the differential..a completely separate compartment from the rest of the transmission..

p.s.: all 93-97 corollas have dipsticks for thier auto trannys, not sure about later models-but most of them do...

Did you read the thread? He said he has a MANUAL tranny. Not automatic. And that technique that I was talking about, it works when you have to change the transmission fluid. I did it to my 92 Celica and my friends 92 240SX. Still don't believe me, check out this link on how to change your transmission oil on a manual tranny:
