Yeah, I brought this up when Dr. Tweak started selling them a while back. I don't see a point to add them to our cars since they don't make that much power anyways unless you're forced fed. It would be a great addition to IS300's, G35's and the like though.

well im not f/i anymore... im stock n/a.

i daily drive my car with stop and go traffic...

and the shift kit works very well. much better shifts compared to oem.

there will be less wear and tear on your transmission. because the shifts are shorter... and less heat. check out transgo. and read about if you are curious.

i think it cost 100 for the kit.

FYI, judging from the part number, those will only work on the 4 speed auto. Could be wrong though.

So it's installed in your car? Were there any extra costs to install? Bottom line is how much did you spend in total to put it in including the cost of the transgo? And where did you get it?

The 1ZZ-FE also came with the 3 speed auto for a few years... can't remember the specifics though.

You can do the install yourself with hand tools? I'm guessing it takes around 3 hours like the site says.

^^^ Tranny shifting hard might be from something else, i.e. gum, deposits in the transaxle, maybe not frequent enough transaxle oil changes for the type of driving it experiences.

    shifting hard is something else.

this kit firms up the shifts.

if you notice stock tranny. 1 to 2 and 2 to 3.... there is a small delay between shifts. this kit takes that away. and shortens the shift.
