    Tranny Problem?

Yesterday I was reversing my car and put it into drive and it made a loud popping sound. Every since then my car has been jerking and slipping. If I floor it, it slips real bad and it takes about 3 to 5 seconds before it catches.

    Help Please??

I did yesterday, I'll go check again right now, also my check light is on, it was phasing on and off when it started to slip but now it stays on for good.

I'm not really sure if I'm reading it right but there is the hot and the cold.

    ^---^---------^---^
    Cold-------|---Hot
------------^ When the car is running the line is right about there, that means I need more correct?

Okay I'm gonna try that tomorrow, does anyone know what I'm gonna be looking at if it's not the fluid prices wise?

check your coolant level and check you oil just in case, you say the engine runs hotter so check the engine fluids as well.

You say the check engine light on? Go to Autozone, have them pull your code...or if you have access to a scanner do it yourself. It's free, and that's where I'd start first after adding a little fluid.

Also, how's the condition of the fluid? Does it look basically the same as the new fluid you are adding or is it brown/black? How does it smell? Are there shiny flecks of metal in it?
