    tranny fluid change

    alright, any fast responces would be great. im goin to AAMCO today to get my oil changed in my manual tranny (98 5spd) i have a free certificate so why not use it? its never been done in the life of the car.

    can someone please tell me what to look for and what to ask while im there? and how long it should take?

    nevermind...i just called aamco and they said that 40k was way too early for a manual tranny change. the guy told me to come back after about 75k, heh...i guess too much time has elapsed for me to delete this thread...can a mod please remove this?

    Ya i was about to say. Manual tranny fluid last longer than auto. replacing it could make your clutch slip.

    I changed mine at 30K miles and switched it to synthetic. Have not had a problem...
