I overslept. But a friend of mine went and he took his and his dad's old camry.


There was also a 2000GT which I thought was really cool and its also been one of my favorite toyota cars

i saw that corolla wagon i thought it was very nice you should of put in your car it could of been 1 of 3 in our year range

What is the year range for the "New School Corolla" award? I'm guessing from the ae92 to the present corolla? IMO, I thought my friend's wagon should have won an award. It was the only ae92 wagon in the show and it had goodies to support it. Haha, well the judges had different opinions.

But there was this Jap guy who took pictures of his ride and interviewed him, he told us that he's going to feature my friend's ride in a Jap magazine!

Congrats again on your award, that must have been a great feeling going to the podium and getting the award.


OT: Where did you get your CF hood? And how much?

from what i heard, the judges there really didnt know much about Toyota. I was told that there was one guy who really knew his stuff and all the rest were just looking at looks and basic performance setups and stuff. If there were no fancy colored wires and big intake, anything to catch the eye of the judges, they considered it mostly stock. It seemed like the judges didn't even know which car came with what engine or for example, if there was a corolla with a 3SGE but the engine bay looked stock and kinda dirty and used, they would think it was stock while if there was a corolla with a 4AFE but shiny parts and colored wires and stuff, the judges thought it was "well taken care of" and stuff and they would give that person more points. Honestly after all the different rumors I heard, I would say not enough people recieved the attention they should have gotten. oh well.. thats US for you..

i dont think so it had gotten completely faded and sun burned, my cousin does body work and he sanded it down for me and added like 10 layers of ppg clear coat it looks like new again. he did it all like in a week
