total loss

    total loss

    I got into an accident yesterday, it was pretty bad. My car was called a total loss from the cop.

    basically what happened was, I was going on a straight road, and the light was green. The guy across was in the left turn lane and he also had a green light, but he had to yield to traffic before turning... and he didn't do that so we had a head-on collision at sort of an angle. He was driving a Dodge ram v8(1994), my corolla didn't fair too well with that. I had no injuries really except a few scratches and bruises. I have some lower back pain but thats basically it. The driver and passanger of the truck were 2 hispanics that couldn't speak english, luckily the 1 of the witnesses that saw the accident could speak spanish. Sigh, I'm so depressed! I don't have a car anymore =[

    Damn sorry to hear that bro...Glad you are ok. Yea it sucks... I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. Some girl made a left into me and she didnt yield when she made a left. Im glad you are ok. I really did call 1-800 THE LAW 2. Turns out the girl did not even have a licence or insurance she was only 16 so her parents had to pay for damages.

    if you have full coverage you should be able to get a rental car. you getting another rolla?

    In some areas you have to be of a certain age to drive a rental regaurdless of whether they pay for one.

    ahhh.. sorry to hear about this.. where did it happen? I could imagine quite a few places around us that it could.. gah people suck at driving... glad you are ok, talk to ya on aim.

    True, but an officer has seen so many accidents, that theyll have a pretty good idea what cars would be totaled or not.

    I'm sorry to hear about the car, I'm glad to hear your OK.
    If they have the car at a yard they will allow you to get your personal items out of the car. If so here's your chance to take of any mods that you might have and make a little money. If this is the case what do you got? ;)
