    Torque settings for header nuts?

Does anyone know the torque settings for the nuts for the header? I seemed to have misplaced my repair manual and it frustrating since I can't find it and my new header arrived... hehe

You got the eBay forza header, right? I'm interested to know how it works out, too.

I've been really busy so no time to attempt to install it yet. Only trying to find out what i need to do for now hehe. Looks like i gotta cut a slit in the header where it meets the cat. hmmm... gotta buy a cutting tool from home depot... Hey, would you guys know if a hacksaw with a reinforced metalcutting blade would be strong enough to cut T-304 stainless steel? I've used it before to cut a section off of the ELP CAI, but that was some other softer metal. Hopefully I'll have time 2mor. I really want this installed. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

INSTALLED!!! finally... The power gain is definitely there. I have more torque off the line and it accelerates easier. It gives my car a deeper growl to the exhaust tone and screams at high RPMs. Definitely worth the money! The problem is that I damaged my header to exhaust gasket so there's a little leak. Gotta go to toyota 2mor and order another one. It was a bitch and a half to get the stock header out. zomg. I forgot the stock header had a stabilizer bolt at the very bottom so that took me a good 30 mins to figure out why it wasn't coming out. Getting the new one in was eeeasy. But one thing about the new header is that you hafta cut a notch in the bottom on the header where it meets the exhaust or else it won't fit. I spent a good 30 mins again hacking away at it with a hacksaw. Despite all that, great improvement over stock! Hope this review helps.

btw fyi: the torque specs for the header nuts to the head = 26 ft/lbs, exhaust to header bolt = 47 ft/lbs

Nope no check engine light hehe. Gas mileage shouldn't change by much. It might even get better, but I'll let you know. I'm just happy its in. I'll post some before and after pictures + some pictures of the old and new and comparing pics of the 2 headers.

Just fixed my exhaust leak with Permatex form-a-gasket material good up to 650 degrees intermittent. Just waiting for it to set and cure and then everythings perfect.

And yeah, get one. Its a great investment for the money. It really can't get any better than less than 200 bucks for the gain you get.

    EDIT: Now welded.
