    Top Horsepower

Hey guys I dont know how you feel about this, I dont think its been mentioned before. But I wondered what you guys would think about a list of the top 10 highest horsepower or quarter mile times for the new corollas. Anyone like this idea? I was thinking one of the links in the center under our logo thing to say top horsepower?

How are you getting your 212hp? Supercharged, engine tuned, + mods?

I wsa just comparing horsepower between hooolala and Blk03Corolla. It's incredible how the CAI and the pulley pull that much more horsepower for Blk03Corolla than hooolala's complete exhaust system upgrade + high flow cat. Both have superchargers with Unichip, but the hp is differentiated by about 32hp. But hooolala's got a TRD filter though which helps air flow, so it shouldn't be that far off from a CAI.

I think the pulley is the primary power booster here. Even though hooolala's full exhaust outhandles Blk03Corolla cat-back.

yeah, the pulley makes a big difference cuz hooolala is only running the stock 6psi (i think its 6 anyway) while Blk03Corolla is running 9psi

as for hooolala's exhaust, if u can't breath it in very well then farting out won't help that much

ok...maybe 180 at the wheels... I'll let you all know when i get the injectors, plugs, and S-AFC installed becuase i will turn the boost up to 8psi then... and i'll probably get it dynoed then too.

im measuring at the flywheel so that is the difference sorry didnt state that ther 130 guys quoted flywheel too lol. Hoolala did you quote to the wheels. I figure im about 185 to the wheels. The dyno that I use quotes flywheel hp.

180 is to the flywheel, automatic loss about 25% of the power

i'v killed a 92 GSR few weeks back, it about 170hp, including intake, exhaust and it was manual. we raced from 0-80mph and i beat him by about 1 1/2 car length.. so i figure i'm pushing about 150 to 160 to the wheel right now

ohh, i always thought you made 208 to the wheels blk03rolla... man if i had a manual i'd love to see who would run a faster quarter... i know youd beat me as of right now, but with a manual itd be a damn good race.

yea it would and the fact we are on opposite sides of the us would make it hard too lol. Once I get lighter rims and my next three mods I will be running in the the high 13s i think. I will have around 250 the the flywheel hopefully.

Well, I haven't been on the dyno yet, but I think I have ran the best 1/4 for a N/A Corolla.

so who are the top 5 right now? My guesses are:

    1. blk03corolla
    2. syndicate
    3. crovax
    4. hoolala
    5. ??bzzzan??

BTW, as far as I know, Rick's 9 psi pulley made Minimal Differences in power. The CAI itself increased boost to ~9 psi. I think Tyler is still waiting to finish his setup so they can retune the unichip to Rick's pulley.
