    toms bodykit for 98-00

does anybody have one with stock springs? what's your ground clearance like? I'm interested in maybe getting one of these kits but I can't have it hitting speedbumps and climbing curbs... although that happens sometimes now with my stock springs

    ok.. measured.
my stock bumper sits at 25cm (9.84in) above ground.
oil pan sits at 18cm (7.08 in) above ground.

now for somebody with the kit to measure.

edit: looking at pictures it seems like it sits 1.5" lower or so.. which is fine..

    but

now that I've done the finances of this whole thing I'm not sure I can afford it any more. My budget was $900 and I went over that easily.

    Kit 375 +200 shipping
    Headlights (cause I have an 02) $120 +30 shipping
    Parking Lights $10 +20 shipping
    paint 200

That puts me at $955 assuming the kit fits perfectly out the box which is impossible. Meaning another $200 in body work. :(

i would measure for you if i have my stock spring.
I'm running trd spring with kyb gr2 struts.
I'm have Tom's side with 12cm for the lowest poing, and a front lip that is not Tom's with 12.5 cm.
as for Tom's rear lip, it's not that low anyways, so i didn't bother measure it.

stock set up you could easily make it over speed bumps and so on...the lowest points are directly around the wheels mainly in the front. I am nearly fully lowered on ground control coilovers so i cannot make it over speed bumps.

thx for the feedback. I've decided to try getting the TRD kit instead.

I've had my stock suspension hit speed bumps before.. I just gotta be very careful I guess :(
