    tokico blues life?

I think I've been riding on my Teins S & Tokico Blue combo on my 98 for about 10-12k miles now (i think its been about 3 or 4 oil changes).

just wondering how long do the struts last? i did the test where i pushed down on the corners of the car and they bounce (once) right back up.

also do worn out struts lower you car a little more? i remember i had my tein's on stock struts and they sat about an inch lower to the ground

I think the tokico blue should last more than 2years depending on driving and road conditions.i dont know anything about if the struts is worn out and the cars lower an inch, but i know if the cars bottoms out or feels bouncy thats a sign of changing your struts

as struts wears out, you will see a change in ride height. You should also feel bouncy if they are going bad. Generally they should last longer than 2 years because they are better than stock, but that will also depend on how you drive and how you take corners.

Not a tokico blues fan. The ones I had blew out real quick with only a 1.3" drop.

I have Tokicos with Tein S-techs and my front struts blew out in less than 2 months. Most likely it was a problem with the installation though. The shop that was doing the installation couldn't fix the problem the first time I brought the car back, so by the time I could come back again, my struts had already suffered alot of damage.

I'm afraid to buy Tokicos again for obvious reason, but Konis and coilovers are a little out of my price range right now.

I've had zero problems with tokoicos but I wouldn't buy them again, nor would I buy KYB GR-2's either.
