Tips on installing a short-ram intake....

From the AEM instructions, it looks pretty easy, so I'm going to keep my $30 and do it myself. So, do you folks who've done this have any advice?

    I've a couple questions too....
    - The bolts on the bottom of the stock airbox are metric and not anything weird like TORX, right? What size are these bolts?
    - I assume I'm probably going to need smaller sockets. I plan on picking up six, seven, and eight MM sockets. Is there anything else I'll need?
    - Is the VSV plug -- is that what it's called? the plug connecting to the MAF sensor -- pretty easy to remove?

I don't have any tips cause it's a pretty straight-forward install. I DIYed it as well and I had no real car experience, just the instructions.

The bolts I think were either 10mm or 12mm. And everything else was pretty easy to remove.

Should I oil the filter too? Or is it fine as it is out of the box?

The bolts are 10mm. You would probably like to have an extension for your set, since the bolts in the air box can be a pain without one.
