Tinting 20% or 35%

I got mine done yesterday with 20%.
20% is illegal in our state, but 35% was too light.
The owner told me that 35% are usually requested by old folks. 95% of his customers requested to have their's done with 20%. I hope I don't get pulled over by a cop.....
It will be a bit** to peel them off and redo it.

What do you have on yours?

10% i think. i got a lifetime warranty on mine against scratches too, so if i need to get em replaced, i could just do something and they'd replace em

none... i wanted tints but they illegal here and all my friends have been hassled with tickets and asked to remove it..

I got 20% in the front windows and 5%(limo) tint in the back. But it's illegal in cali to have 20% in the front windows.

I got all 35%, but mirror tint.

I did all 35%. Obtained a waiver from the state to do the fronts and windsheild, but it's still only good for 35%. Was a bear to get, had to get note from my eye doc AND my MD doc.

The guy who did my tinting (TINT-IT in Manchester NH) said do NOT do the entire windsheild. Says the windsheild is laminated with a sheet of plastic in the middle (safety glass), and if you tint the entire thing it will build up enough heat to cause the laminate to seperate and bubble inside the glass. Throw the shield away time.

Says you can safely go half way down, but he had done that to his car and I didn't like the way it looked, so I did a 4 inch strip of 20% at the top. Gets the sun out of my eyes and isn't wide enough to attract cops or get me failed at inspection.

5% in the back and 65% in the front

i got 35%(all around) last week...and i love it!!!!

The mirror tint looks pretty good.

I got 20% all the way around, I've gotten nothing but compliments on it. Haven't had any problems with the law... yet.
