    this TRD muffler real thing?

OKay reason i ask i got this off ebay, Thompson Toyota in PA. I took couple pics and I honestly have no idea if this is the real TRD muffler or not (cant trust anyone these days). I thought the actual TRD muffler' would be wider and bigger than the stock muffler, which i dont think it is but I need your opinions.

Good choice on the trd exhaust i personally love mine. But as for loudness its not very loud at all . You get a nice deep grumble during idle and a nice deep tone to about 3K RPM but then after the sound of my intake over powers it. as Rolla Dink told me "The trd exhaust gets progressivly louder" so yeah when you near red line it starts to scream.

O yeah another problem if your cars lowered with the trd exhaust your ganna scrape it a lot. I have the Hotchkis drop which is 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in the back and the exhaust scrapes on just about anything

actually most sport mufflers are a step smaller in size compared to stock usually utilizing a &quot;canister&quot; style muffler to achieve good sound reduction and light weight performance.<br />

some companies like Greddy use larger canisters with more material inside to achieve lower sound levels.
