    They scratched my Rolla!!!

I took my car for repair last week, and it came back with a scratch...

The gray rubber stripping for the ground effects was loose, and one area were pinched.
Anyway, they fixed the loose one, but I guess some bozo tried to pry the pinched one with screw driver and slipped. Viola! scratch below the fog light... :x

The good news is they're going to replace the ground effects in the front.

It's going to take at least 2 weeks for the parts to come in, and now I realized the scratch is not really that bad. So was thinking if it's a good idea to just asked for credit, instead of them replacing that particular part.

Does any one have any idea how much those thing cost?

    Thanks!

Does it really matter how much the parts cost, since they're replacing it? Perosnally, I would have the parts replaced at the other guy's cost.

Yes it does, because if the kit cost like $500, then I rather take the money! :D

But then you'll be left with a scratch and then you're gonna ask us how you can fix it for cheap? Just take the handout...

Cost who? If you went to the dealership and tried to buy one it would probably be around $400. The dealer probably gets it from Toyota for $200, so if you're willing to take less than that then try going for a cash settlement, otherwise, take the new part.
