    The difference between rim colors

I've seen a lot of rims out there, but then there are some colors which I don't know if they are darker than others. I want to know what's the difference between each type of rim. If anybody can help me with the list below, and put them in order from lightest to darkest looking one, with a description as well.

Gunmetal, Hyperblack, Gray, Dark gray, Carbon, Antracite, Graphite

I'm not sure about all those but hyperblack is not black, I kinda got tricked. My rims are hyperblack but theyre more chrome.

Hyperblack about the same as gray, but lighter. Then its darkgray and Graphite is also almost similar to gunmetal. Gunmetal is darker on certain brands of rims and lighter on others. Anthracite and Carbon are about the same. I got Anthracite.

different makers have different shades of each color, just look at the colors available for the rims you want..and go from there..it's pointless to ask which is darker in general

can anyone suggest some rims that are gunmetal and inexpensive but look nice? heres the catch, i want ones that have a hard surface, i'm sick of scratching up my rims! what would that be? anodized or powdercoated?

go grab some fawked up rims..and go powercoat them..

what size are you looking for
how much are you willing to spend
do you want no name brand that are heavy and cheaply made..or brand name and light wheels..both would get fucked up due to scratches, no questions about that..

    www.modacar.com
    www.machiii.net
    www.wheelmax.com
    www.tires.com
    www.tirerack.com

plus a lot more, those are just the most popular..

beware of modacar, they carry some of the rarest size rotas, like 15x7 gt3's, which are supposed to come out in another month..but some people order and they dont ship it out..and then they keep 10% of what you paid..
