    The 2009 Motor Trend Car of the Year has been crowned...

    ... And if you post in other import forums that yap left and right about it, it has to be the 09 king.

    However, that is not my biggest concern. I am happy to inform you guys that the corolla made the list of contenders!!! and so did the matrix. however, they didnt make it to the finals

    I still feel good inside... :cool:

    guess that's good :) I'm just happy knowing my 38mpg corolla has almost the same 0-60 as an 09 xrs

    The Corolla made the list of contenders because it was redesigned for the 2009 model year

    Any car that gets fully redesigned qualifies.

    what happened to gas mileage over the years too? my car gets 34-36 mpg and is bigger then the yaris/fit wtf....
