    Thank You ABS

Giant SUV's are not your friend if you didn't know already. I was going about 80 mph on the highway and next to a huge ford somethin and he plows into the lane. I'm sitting there in a *brand new car* (purchased last week) and barely cleared his rear bumper. He promptly has the nerve to throw up a hand and start B****ing out his window.

You aren't familiar with the unwritten law that 'the guy with the biggest tires has the right of way?" J/K...! Seriously though, in South Carolina people really seem to think this...

Holy cow, didn't think I'd see another person from SC on the boards. I'm at USC in Cola, but I live near Charleston.

Anyway, what you say is so true. The people here and their lifted trucks and huge SUVs... :x

They may be big, but slow as hell. Just smoke them and give them the finger.

The semi trucks are starting to take up more lanes too. Here in S. Calif., there are too many of them. I've seen them take up as much as three lanes a few times. Brought traffic to a crawl because of those huge ass slowpokes. Stupid 18 wheelers. I should have more respect for them, for helping us deliver stuff cross country, but they should have a freeway of their own.

I hate to say it, but the freeways were built more for them than for us. If not for them our freeways wouldn't exist.

That being said, it is annoying when they clog up traffic. Those things are more difficult to drive well than our little cars, so I try to give them right of way and slow down to let them change lanes and such. Sometimes, though, I wish they would just get out of my way.

SUVs, on the other hand, get no special treatment from me. They're just slow vision-obstructing wastes of gasoline and can all just fall off the road as far as I'm concerned.

I've never had any problems driving alongside SUVs. Most of the drivers of SUVs are pretty much women and probably soccer moms due to all the kids they have in there. I know they try to drive carefully, because of them.

Personally, I think SUV are for women and you know what they say about women drivers. That's probably why some of you are going nuts with the way they drive their SUVs.

....and about the semi trucks, I don't mean to bash them too hard. I just get impatient at times because they move so slow and hog up the road, especially when I need to get somewhere fast (late for work)
