    TENZO R MUFFLER

Does anybody know anything about the Tenzo R Muffler with the burnt tip. Im thinking about buying it today from my local shop for $100 and getting custom 2.25 inch piping resonator back today. Is this a good universay muffler? Does it sound nice and deep or ricey? Is it sold on the internet? Any input would definately help! Thanks!

Well the stock exhaust is already 2.25" up to the resonator, and then tapers down to 1.75" from resonator-back. And with regard to torque, the question is where you lose the torque and where you gain some. I've increased to 2.25" (actually 50% 2.25" and another 50% 2.5") and the dynojet shows gains of 15 whp and 122 ft-lbs. of torque, which I know is way more than what stock was. On the other hand, the engine seems to pull harder now only when it hits about 2500-3000rpms and feels slightly sluggish before then. No big loss though since I usually will only take it past 3000rpms when I'm in a race anyway, in which case I'll be revving all the way to redline with my increased torque.

i got it installed today with the tenzo r muffler. I had it welded on axle back with a flange for $100. They (wisconsin muffler) wanted another $100 for 2.25 inch piping with a flange from the resonator to the axle, but now i am gonna shop around for a better price. You can see a pic on my cardomain.
