    Taking off side molding

If anyone knows how I go about taking off the side moldings on my car....I know that if its a dull color then it will look weird because the paint is fresh underneath...since its glued on how can I do it without leaving glue marks and if it does is there something to get rid of it....its a silver car. thanks

just a tip - this HAS been discussed ad nauseum, and the search tool is your friend.

now...to prevent me from being a COMPLETE bitch...heat the sidemoulding, start with fishing line on one end, and gradually remove it. just keep it heated, and pull slowly. use goof-off to get the residual adhesive off. once everything is removed, wash and wax the area. MAKE SURE YOU WAX IT! goof-off removes wax as well as adhesive.
