    Tachometer Linked LED Undercar Lights

    Hello Fellow Enthusiasts!
I am hoping to install some undercar lights at some point soon. I hope to find the wiring for my tachometer, and attach a circuit to it which would change the colors of a multi-led undercar lighting system.
The lights, while idling, would glow green. As I accelerate, they would turn toward yellow and orange. As the lift system kicks in, they would turn bright red.
What I am hoping one of you might know is what wiring to splice to that will give the necessary Tach information to my new circuit.
    Talk to you soon!

what year? in the 7th gens (93-97) and maybe 8th gens (98-00) the diagnostic port houses a port that is labeled -IG. look under the cap itself for a map. the port is already able to accept a male spade connector.
