    swapping for a 3s-gte

    i have a 01 corolla s, and i was wondering, could you swap the stock engine (i dont know the name, only thats its a 1.8 dohc with vvti) for the 3s-gte? how would you if you could? i found a bunch of people doing this to mr2's (i have an 85 mr2 and like to do this as well,) and id like to do it to my corolla, just for kicks... and to kick, well, you know, butt.

    it wouldn't really be just for kicks. sorta more like total annihilation. not too many people have done this swap. i believe el prototypes had a 3s powered corolla. so does fensport. and a couple people in asia. that's all i've heard though.
