Hey everybody!! I am a Minitruck/Honda guy that just recently got a 98 corolla. I know you can use Accord shocks in a civic to get a 2' drop (shock bodies are shorter) with a full spring pack, just wondering if anybody knows if the same is true in the corolla world? are tercel or celica struts shorter and able to bolt in? What is everyone running for coilovers? Below is a pic of my car btw

Interesting, I've never heard of lowering a car that way haha.... so I'm gonna assume that means "no"!

Might want to check into the 6th and 7th gen celica front struts.....i know those have the same mounting points for the front and might be lower since the celica was considered a sports car which was lower too....

Might do a little wrecking yard tape measure recon. I will let you guys know when I go and find out for sure! What do you guys use for lowering/coilovers on your cars?

Hey bro, your fiberglass looks awesome!! Have not decided if I want to go with the 8.5 front end or not, but either way I am interested in a lip spoiler and possibly a trunk spoiler.

Well the usual methods are just replacing the springs. Sometimes people do install full coilovers, but it's the more serious modders. Cutting springs.... well let's not talk about that lol.

S techs are the only spring I'd ever install on a Corolla lol

I've been using Ksport Kontrol Pros for about a year now and still going strong. Pretty good considering NYC streets are considered more offroad than street.

Yes, plenty of people swap out struts to get more of a drop, I think Miata struts work out back.

I'm on D2 coilovers. I say skip the headache and do it right the first time. I learned a lot when I used to own a DC4 and DB7, and now I'm not cheaping out on parts with the Corolla.
