installation kit is actully the piggyback computer, since every model has different ECU, which means 03 corolla MT is differnt from 03 AT, 04 MT, 04 AT. that's why TRD decide to seperate the main supercharger and the piggyback.

So theoretically you can just buy the S/C and it comes with the 5th fuel rail, mounting kit, etc and all you would need is the ECU?
If so, then I wonder if you could just skip the factory ECU and then get an aftermarket one of your choice (I know this would void the warranty...just a hypothetical)?

one is just the supercharger itself........the other is the ECU and the intake pieces and whatnot......so that idea wouldn't work. But i'm glad to see your thinkin

Yeah im sure that TRD thought of that already, thats why they didnt JUST sell the ECU different, then everyone wqould cut that out and get their own.
