Suggestions please....on getting a lowered S on Rhino Ramps

I WAS going to change my oil but I didn't think the front clearance was so low. The front lip and low-ass S.Tech ground clearance is making getting my car onto the ramp impossible without help. Makes me wonder how the heck I get up curbs!

I was thinking of taking a halved 2x4 and sticking them under the wheels to give the car a better angle and to help the lip clear the ramp. Anyone have any better ideas? Thanks.

I have ramps already made that are bevaled 2X8"s. It is 3 pieces total stacked one on top of the other and terraced (obviously screwed together) with a stop on the end so I don't go over. I have S-techs with 205/40 R17 and just barely clear mine with stock kit. Maybe you could get thinner wood peices or space the levels farther apart, though it would make the ramp really big, but it should definately work.

I would worry about your shims staying put when you back off the ramp... one slip and you could screw up your body kit. You may not be able to get it up on the rhino ramps and back off again safely (I had an old Celica with this problem.) I'm with ctsire13 on this one. I also used 2x8's to make my own ramps using only two beveled pieces (I'm a little guy) sandwiched together, but theres no reason you couldn't do a triple/quadruple decker or more extra clearance.

    My solution:
    - Return the Rhino Ramps to Wal-Mart
    - buy a pair of jackstands instead
    - put the car up on the jackstands and chock the back wheels
    - change oil and filter!

    Thanks anyway, guys!
