    Successful 03 1ZZFE

    swapped an 03 1ZZ into my 2000 since my engine went Kaput! everything is working fine i just have to remember that my redline is a little higher now.

    pics coming later

    Edit: Still need an 03 Plastic intake manifold, and an 03 DBW TB

    that extra 400 RPMs will be fun when im at the track

    and yes the car is running, no Check Engine Light, or any fitament

    Also got all new KYB GR-2s with some OBX-R Coilover sleevs, havent lowered it too much yet because i just got an alignment as well

    Pics will come when 5/100 of my cell phone shots are worthy enough to post lol, still need to get me one of those fancy digital cameras lol

    Congrats on your new 03 block, but you will not get to rev to the extra RPM because you are still on the 00 ECU. Also, if you get the 03+ intake manifold/throttle body you should get it tuned or you experience HP loss like Vamp because the ECU can't account for the extra air.

    Why switch to drive by wire? Its not good if you're going to take it to the track. And you didn't have to switch the ecu?

    no the 03 is not drive by wire its still a cable, i have the 03 ECU i just need to get it installed before i get the 03 Manifold and TB
