    Subs question

    I got 2 12'' Type Rs with a JBL 1200.1 Amp and i was wondering how im saposta to find out what i should set the HP and LP to on my Head Unit. I also have an aftermarkter Alpine headunit

    are you using the stock speakers other than the subs?

    if so, you might try a higher crossover setting (try somewhere in the 100-125 hz range)to ease the load on the factory mains. course the sub will be working harder, and running into frequencys out of its "primary" range.

    best advice in this instance, play with a couple settings and see what works.
