Koni, then Tokico. the TRD bar is both effective(as much as it can be...) and looks nice. hotchkis sways are a must.

KYB's aren't too bad. they're the most durable in my experience. but then again the roads here in the philppines are awful so maybe that explains why the other brands didn't last that long. if you have nice smooth roads where you live, the koni's or tokiko's might perform better.

the front sway bar is highly unrecomended. corolla's all ready have a problem w/ understeer , adding a sway bar to the front will make understeer worse in some cases. i would get the strut tower bar , springs and struts and see how youlike the attitude of the car in the corners. your car, factory should already have a rear sway bar , upgrade it to a hotchkis . if you have a front one from the factory , then you have a lux model , let that front sway bar be the last thing you swap in your suspension build , it has a dramatic effect on understeer.

kybs are good for me. they work just fine with my h&r springs(5k miles and no complaints) if you get hotchkis sways just install the set and then tune the rear stiffer to get rid of the understeer

I have KYB Gr2, and I like them, Much stiffer in the corners, but not terrible on bumpy roads either. I also put a new set of Cooper Cobra GT 195/60R14 on, and combined with the stiffer struts, it is pretty nice. I plan to put a strut tower bar on next, but can't do sway bars until after I get it running right first. I have some major motor mount and exhaust problems.

do you guys know any sites where its cheaper? i saw struts for around $400, which konis are good, not really looking for adjustables, the front strut bar for 160, and the sway bars for 300. thanks!

i have Tokico struts, Intrax springs, Hotchkis sways. i can handle turns MUCH better than before, and the car doesn't have any sort of a "floaty" feeling. next step is to upgrade the tires, and i'll be good to go.

like i said worse in some cases . sharp technical low speed corners , heavr braking = worse . long higher speed circuit type racing , high speed corners = better.

sorry i didnt explain more in depth
