Should feel tighter at turns. Less body flex. You wont feel a diferrence if your not really pushing your car. I drive a AE101 though, but it should be the same thing.

Is that all you have done to the suspension?

    strut-bar?

can anybody with a 98-01 corolla lmk how their front strut bar worked out for them? noticable improvement? handling?
I spent some good money on a trd bar for my 03 with dissapointing results and
I dont want to make the same mistake again.

It does make the front a little tighter in turns. One time I took it off and hit some high speed turns and it was an obvious difference in how loose the car felt.

All I have on my 98 is tokico blues on stock springs.
On my 03 I had the trd stb, hotchkis f/r swaybar and koni yellows on ground controls, I just didnt want to spend money on a $200 stb when I can get an ebay one with the same results.
On my other 240 I purchased all JIC,Battle Version, Whiteline stb's, swaybars and braces, and then drove my friends ebay equipped 240 and the results were just about the same. But like you said when you really start to push your car my car did handle a little better than my friends car.

ah, I do drive like a grandma; but i do appreciate a grocery getter that can still
handle them tight turns in my supermarkets parking lot. I broke down and just bought a strut bar from summit for $29.95 and I got a brandnew set of S-Techs for $80 from some guy who made a last minute decision to get ground controls instead : ) His loss = my gain.
