haha, uhm...you do realize that those 115 were from facotry when the car was fresh. your definatly not getting that now. and also, i wish that everycar let the power from the crank go straight to the ground, but you lose some in the trannsmission. also, is it a manual or automatic? that makes a difference as well. and btw....if you beat a v6 then the guy that owns that car needs to plug his sparkplug wires back in or lose his keys....that shouldnt happen.

    http://vvti.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13652 I just dug up an old thread of his kills. It's all coming back to me now. LOL :D

    You can Frankenstein a 4A-GE head on the 7A-FE block. It's been done successfully before.

    It could be a cheaper alternative to a 4AG swap since you don't need to buy another motor or pay for more labor. That is unless you can get a good deal on a 4AG and labor costs.

    It depends on the type of 4AG head and the pistons and tuning. It generally makes a little less than a true 4AG but has more torque characteristics of the 7AF.

    "header" :D

    It would be cheaper since you can swap heads with the block still in the car.

    before rollatuner hops on this....search around for info. definatly popular if not on these boards then definatly on others. check toyotanation and club4ag. also...all you need to do is take the ecu (if even that) and the wiring and the head will drop on to the motor (maybe a little modification but not much) and then run all your tubes and wiring and belts and guess what...your done! but thats only for a 16valve. theres also a 20v head but theres quite a bit more involved in that

    It's unique though. I don't know if it's possible, but if you can, try Frankensteining the black top 4ag head. That would give some crazy results.

    I actually remember those days when 115 was power....150 hp to the wheels bone stock and a 7K limiter with a short (compared to a corolla) throw shifter. CIVIC FTW!!!!!

    well...with time and money you can toss a 20b with 3 turbos in the corolla....... hey wait a minute...theres your next swap man. lol, jk. but uhm, if you "frankensteined" the 20v onto the 7a block it would basically be a 20v with more displacement. only thing you need to worry about is the fact that the block on the 20v 4age was ribbed i do believe. btw, im currently swapping a 20v silvertop into an ae86 (so...ive read up on these motors a fair bit)

    i just bought my 20v st for 450 and then harness, ecu, and AFM for 300 more. ribbed just meaning reinforced and stronger. uhm, for either choice you have to do some wiring and a little mod but not tooooo much. honestly, id say if you wanted to do it, go for the 20v blacktop. the lift is more on that motor and the valves are already ported/polished from factory

    yea but then that becomes a complete engine swap and would cost more. I just want quick and easy power with a few bolt ons, meaning like just putting the 4age headand a couple more things, if i really have the time and money, probaby drop a 4agze and up the boost to get 200 at the wheeels, lol but thats a looooong shot

    where did u purchase your 20v from?
