    Start UP Sounds Bad

Hey fellas, I have a question, my car in the mornings when I'm gonna turn it on it sounds horrible. When I turn the key to start it up it sounds like if I had no battery almost. What mean the ignition is kinda sloggish not like it used to be, one quick turn and on. I'm plannig to take it to the dealer so they can check it out. What do you guys think it is...?

    Thx for any answers.

i had the same problem with mine and the batter ended up being bad... the factory battery toyota puts in the corollas has really low CCA (cold cranking amps) only like 310. have it tested at any autoparts store tho if you wanna make sure it is bad before you take it in to toyota. the good thing is toyota replaces warranty batters with intersate batteries that have like 560 CCA's.

Thx schoat i will do that. And then take it to the dealer.

And anotherthing that I remember when I start letting go the cluth and start accelerating I can take the whole clutch out and the revs stay high but the car moves slow until it grabs the clutch, I hope I explained myself well.
Again thx schoat and anyone who answers.

sounds like your clutch is slipping............better replace it, before it causes any major damage.

Total I think I spent about $400........That included the TRD Japan clutch, and clutch plate, and a new release bearing. I got it from my dealership, though there are many on ebay from dealerships selling at about the same price. As for install, it was installed at the same time my transmission was replaced under warranty so i didn't pay a cent. Actually I ended up making money off of it since the new tranny came w/ a release bearing. I ended up returning the one I bought and got my $35 back.
