    When it gets dirty, throw it out and get a K&N cone filter.

    is the k&n cone filter smaller than the Injen one?

    SRi filter

    i bought the ebay special and i got some craptastic filter idk if it does anything i was looking to replace it with like a drytek one from aem or maybe injen or k&n but im not really sure should i just leave the one i got on there mind u its been on there for 18k miles

    my cousin has a aem intake and i like the filter he has its like 30 bucks and it doesnt need to be oiled or should i get a k&n

    the k&n filter is as good as aem filter and probally cost less(not sure)and dont forget to buy the k&n filter cleaning kit or be like me buy simple green to wash the filter out and wd40 for oil it up but make sure not to spray heavy,light spray is the key.

    I think the Injen filter and the K&N filter are made in the same place. They both look the same and the both use the same method of charging (cleaning). I dont know what the AEM filter looks like but Im sure that they are all made in the same factory just with a different name plate.

    yah its a dry system that doesnt need to be oiled which i really didnt want to do thats y i was considering it but just wanted to see if anyone new if either made a difference which i understand probably doesnt anyway

    yeah i reallllllly wanted to get aem dry filters because i didnt wanna oil my filter .. just wanted to wash, dry and go.

    i got the idea from this shop i used go to and i did both ways,i didnt feel any difference but its all about preference.
