    Squeal = Bad Power steering?

    I think my power steering is going out. When the car is cold, and sometimes after driving on the freeway for a while, I hear a loud squealing when I turn the steering wheel left. I'm assuming this is the power steering going bad. Does this sound right?

    How hard is it to replace the power steering?

    check the fluid and also check the power steering high pressure hose.
