spker size for rear deck?

    spker size for rear deck?

    i'm new with whole audio set up and i really want beat in my car but i don't want a sub or an amp at least not right now...but my question is..are there certain 6x9's that won't fit in the rear deck and what's the size i can put in the front..i found some pioneer 6x9s that i want to put in the rear deck but not sure if it will fit..thanks

    You can use Crutchfield.com to get an idea of what fits your car, but most 6x9s will fit the back with no problem.

    Yeah 6x9s will fit in the rear, there might be need for small modification. Nothing noticeable. Most places will do the install and make sure they fit good, in the front the speaker size is 6 1/2s. Do a couple seaches here, you will find alot of information.

    i would recommend going against what you want and get an amp and subs, trust me you wont be disapointed.

    i bought polks for the back and when i instaleld it, non of the bolt holes lined up cuz stock is too wide. so i remembered the DIY from here and i held it down wit ziplocks really tight so it wont vibrate. haven't had a problem w/ vibration and im loving it. bass kinda got weaker cuz its higher frequency than stock. so now my front stock mids hit harder. but yet, the rear speakers are a lot clearer.
