    SPIDERMAN 2 RULES!

As much as I would love to give everything away out of fan-boy'ism and also the fact that i work for a comic book company, I must say that I loved the 2nd more than the 1st.
Is there anyone else who saw it 2nite? (Tuesday Jun, 29th @ 12:01am?)
Man the theatre was packed! But was sooo worth the wait! Can't wait for Part 4....hehehe im sure 3 will be good, but I know who'll be appearing in part 4!!

    Go SPIDEY GO!!!!

no no no...........the part where mary jane is like.........." we never got on, you can't get off, if you don't get on"............It's not used in a dirty context, but i've got the maturity of an 8 year old.

Just saw it today. It was definitely better than the first one. There is more that goes on than the previous movie + a few surprises you can't believe. I hope you guys don't mind me saying this, but the movie made it wide open towards a Spiderman 3, if the producers want a third part. (I don't know if a 3rd movie is in the works or not). Excellent ending though. Very satisfied.

The Matrix 2 was never that good in revealing a third movie. Then again, we knew there would be a three part series. That movie literally left you hanging with a stupid "To Be Continued" thought. Spiderman 2 does a much better job of that. Definitely worth seeing again.

Just to let you know, there will be a part 3 since all the cast members signed a 3 year movie contract. Personally I believe that Spiderman is MARVEL's bread and butter when it comes to movies. I also think that there will be 5 spiderman movies (at least) with part 3 having either The vulture or Rhino, or maybe even have both of them..and for Spiderman 4, I say Venom will Definetely will rake in the cash for MARVEL! OMG I can't wait!

Part 3 is gonna be the Hobgoblin................Harry Osborne. I don't think the vulture or the rhino will be in it.

I personally had enough of all the Goblin-izm at the moment, but would'nt be surprized if Harry will be in part 3 as the hobgoblin, but it would also be cool if they kinda slip in his deterioration from being Sane old Harry into Psychopathic Harry osbourne.

I think that's good marketing in the entertainment field. People just saw SPiderman 2 and still fresh in their minds and then there are people that are like, "all right, that's enough for now". If you watch too much of it, people's attention tends to draw away from it and find other movies of their interest. It builds up the suspense and when SPiderman 3 actually does come out, they'll expect a huge turnout. Especially with the way how the movie ended.

The Matrix was a bust because their movies were nearly back to back in the same year. Only hardcore Matrix fans were eager to see it and box office numbers was not as high as they expected. Star Trek has a lot of movies but a majority of them spanned between years before the next release. Star Trek Resurrection was a flop because they wanted to come out with a new movie the following year and box office was way down beause of that.

I'm not a big fan of Spiderman, but I've always been a big comic fan in general. I'll watch any movies based on Marvel comics or DC whether they are good or not. I like to see the Fantastic Four or She-Hulk come out on film. Perhaps a remake of the old Superman movie might be interesting. Another classic is to remake and bring back a Wonder Woman film too. She is way underrated. What's up with Kathy Lee Crosby in the old Wonder Woman film? That was the worst I ever seen. At least use Lynda Carter instead of her because she made a fine Wonder Woman.

It was way better than the first one. Thought it was cool how MJ knows now though, didn't think she was going to find out. And Harry is totally psycho now, lol.

    CRAZY

Things I failed to mention in my previous posts. Did anyone NOTICE the "S" shaped scar on Peter Parkers RIGHT CHEEK? I believe that it has a significance for later movies.

PLUS the fact that they actually introduced Dr. Conners aka "THE LIZARD" he becomes the lizard from an expedition and loses an arm. But before he loses the arm, he's actually doing an experiment on how to RE-GROW limbs ie: missing arms, legs,
He's studying how reptiles can grow their limbs back like their tails? so he tries to recreate that for humans. So during his trip, he loses his arm to an aligator i believe and does his RE-GROW'ing limb experiment on himself but with a fatal price. He turns himself into a lizard, bla bla bla.. etc etc...i lost my train of thought because I was in an msn conversation for 30mins and forgot where i was going with my point

Oh yeah, Dr Connors. I totally forgot about him. THat was Peter Parker's instructor at the university right? The guy that said he would be failing if he didn't keep up?

That just blew the movie wide open even more. WHew, can't wait to see how they're going to make Spiderman 3 or even a Spiderman 4. THe Venom idea is good too because they introduced Jamison's son and how is an astronuat and everything. Maybe they could have him return from space on his next mission with an alien attached to the hull of the shuttle or something. Then SPiderman somehow makes contact with it and plot grows.

Lots of ideas. This is the best Marvel based film ever produced. Better than X-Men. X-Men was too predictable, but SPiderman leaves you pondering.

Ok after checking out my friends comics...........the hobgoblin is not Harry Osborne, In fact Harry becomes the new Green Goblin.........so the enemy in the 3rd is gonna be at least green goblin........don't know if they'll be anyone else.

oh man, that's going to be good. Now I'm all hyped up for the next Spiderman release. Damn, have to wait a while. Especially when Harry knows Spiderman's secret. That's got to be some good writing.

I belive that they want you to think that Harry Osborne is going to be the next villan. Maybey he will be the villan for the Foutth film. I really hope the next villan will be Venom or Carnage or both.

That is a good idea too. They could show Harry going through his crazy phase during Spiderman 3 and reveal at the end of the movie with the Green Goblin setup so in Spiderman 4, it will be the Green Goblin and Spiderman getting at it with a twisted plot. In the meantime for Spiderman 3, have a different super villian to battle Spiderman. The Lizard would be a good one because of Doctor Connors. I feel we need a little more background on him though.

The Lizard sounds like a possible candidate for Spiderman 3...and the whole dr. conners bit could make an interesting story. I was watching part 2 again and noticed that Dr. conners is missing one arm already, leaving the possibility that he may be in part 3?
But if they happen to introduce another one of Spidey's known foe's such as,
MYSTERIO, The Rhino, Sandman or maybe the vulture ( too many flying enemies so far)

My pic would have to be either The lizard and a tie between Mysterio and Sandman. I don't see anything that promising with the rhino since he's an un-educated villian  BUT i can see him working for an enemy such as Mysterio! But only time will tell! 3 more years to be exact.
