Just go to a shop that also does performance work. The shop that I take my car to get aligned at only charges $60, I think for an alignment (lowered or not) and the extra corrections (camber, caster, and toe corrections for lowered vehicles) costs an extra $25-30, I think. Not a bad deal overall, plus they're known in South Louisiana as one of the best.

i was wondering the same thing , i have tokico hp struts , sprint 2" drop springs , tein upper pillow ball mounts , and 16 or 17" enkei j-10s 2054017 . the sprint springs recommend the upper pillow ball mounts , to correct the camber problem . i still have to allign all this ish when i get it on .

some normal 80 dollar 4-wheel alignment shops say they dont touch the adjustable pillow ball mounts. are these things fairly easy to adjust yourself , ive never been around a pair , and wouldnt have em if i didnt have to . imo there for the d1 scene , kinda ricey on a fwd corolla , but as long as they serve the purpose right ? and at least there tein.

That price would make sense if they also installed the parts for your suspension...maybe.

As long as they can fit your car onto the rack, they can do an alignment on your lowered car.

Think about it...if your camber or toe is off on your stock suspension, they need to correct it. Thats what an alignment is.
The car being lowered doesnt change that fact.

You can still use your firestone liftime alignment. Just buy some camber kits and install them yourself then take it there to get aligned.

If all you have is struts and springs and the guy at a alignment shop tell you that you need a "special alignment" that cost more.. don't say a word and just WALK OUT. Unless you have a camber kit they don't need to do anymore work than normal, they're just trying to rip you off.
The place I go to does custom alignments for track and street cars, they charge $60 if you are stock or have just struts and sprigns, more if you have camber kits or aftermarket adjustment parts.
