    spark plugs

Hello vvti I am new to the game and had a question on the spark plugs. I had purchased some bosch platinum +4 plugs for my 2000 corolla. I know they came with iridium, but I have been reading that it really doesnt matter. But on the other hand the dealer ship says the quad tips plugs are not the right ones for my car. So my question is can the plugs (bosch +4) be a problem for my car?
    Thank you for your time.

just be careful it is not too hot to mess up the piston.. from my knowledge, when the spark plug is too hot it can like burn the top of your piton.

i think you would best off to go with the iradium plugs

I would stick with OEM on these. I change mine at 70k miles for fear they would sieze in place. CW

go to advance auto parts online or auto zone...look up the spark plugs and they should tell you what they need to be gapped or you can get pre-gaped

they should come pre-gapped. Gapping iridium plugs is a real bad idea. That center electrode is only like 0.6mm in diameter....very easy to break and fairly expensive (in terms of spark plugs) to replace.

I think the gap in my '03 was like 0.043 inches or 1.1mm(??)

go to your local autozone or kragens..and ask them, they got a book that'll show you..
