Spark plug wires for 99 corolla

Anybody know a good spark plug wires for a 99 corolla? I've tried the apc wire set and they suck big time. I ended up puting my stock wires. I'm looking for an exact fit since the apc was loose and water got into my spark plugs when I washed the engine  Not cool at all. Any recommendations?

unless you have a good amount of work done to your motor, i don't think getting new spark plug wires will make any difference power-wise. just stick with your stock wires..

dude regardless of "performance" sparkplug wires or ur stock ones your gonna get water in there if u washing the engine...believe me I learned the hardway when I was only running on 2 pistons shit sounded like some Harley and looked like a civic when I pressed the gas (all sound but no go) anyhow like stated above upgrading wires aint really gonna do much unless uve done work to your engine.

yeah I know what you mean, that actually happen to me with that pos apc wires. Well actually it was worse cuz the car just studdered then no fire. I unhooked the spark plug wires and there she is, like a freaking titanic. flooded all the way. Anyways, I understand what you guys are saying and I did hear that no matter what plugs or wires you have in there, unless you upgrade every single thing that has a connection with them, there isn't much of a hp gain at all. So this leads to my next question. my car has alot of lag and my main purpose of upgrading the wires and plugs is to reduce the lag. I mean my car picks up pretty good off the line, but as the car shifts, you can tell there is alot of lag. A friend of mine said you can get msd ignition and it should help. Is that true? is that even worth investing? He has one, but he also have a freaking v8 mustang so Im kinda skeptical.

    http://www.magnecor.com/

That will make ya think about spark plug wires for a while....

I actually bought them but you read all the stuff for yourself and decide on what you want to spend your money on. :)

Go read the site you'll see that you don't truly ever get a "gain" from sparkplug wires... You simply restore the true spark potential by putting a better wire on. As for the magnecor wires - they fit up perfect. They actually make a set for our cars.

still 1.8 - i've still been too lazy to undertake the full swapout project... Actually I just haven't had enough time to where I could dedicate 3-4 days straight to it. been workin too much.
