    $50 paint jobs

Just a topic lol. People do the $50 dollar paint job but never thought about doing it as a job or side job with others in a garage? Could charge $250 like maaco does but it would be way better. Would make a killing fast. If someone does think about doing it, feel free to do it in the NY area lol.

But it would not be worth it because of the labor, unless you had a bunch of cars to do at once. It needs to dry for a long time in between the 10 coats you need to do.

I wont want that crap. At leat buy a freaking harbor freight HVLP gun and ditch the house paint roller. They're not expensive.

I wouldn't get near that with a 10 foot pole. I'd rather shell out some money for a decent job.

The heat lamps dry the paint evenly. I can imagine bugs getting stuck in a 50 dollar paint job.

For what it is, it doesn't look that bad. You have to understand that you're not going to get a showroom paint job. But if you just need some paint on your car its an option.

thats the only thing I agree with.. but whe he finally decides to get a real paint job, he has to strip off all that crap.

Before and after both look horrible though. Beforehand, the paint was crap, but a legit excuse would be "it's old and I'm saving up for a decent paint job." The after pics really do look like a cheap spray can job and there's no excuse for that except "I had too much time and I f*cked up." lol

More work for the next guy who has to repaint it.

Whos being an ass? Saying the truth isnt being an ass.

If youre a "cheap owner" then you shouldnt be getting a new paint job...period.

    It looks like shit.
