some info on 4afe pistons into 7afe

Hey all. Newb to the corolla world but I am and always will be a toyota fan (R.I.P. 93 Tercel 5efe with bolt ons....:( ) I have a 93 corolla 7afe auto and Was wondering if its worth putting 4afe pistons in a 7afe engine? Dont want to go crazy on my car and cant seem to find much about 4afe 7afe piston swap. What needs to be done and how many horses will it give? Estimate on shop price? any help will do. :)

Since the 4a block is short so I believe the pistons are shorter too? I guess you will lose big power?

No point for 4FE pistons. If you want an actually increase, go high compression 4AG pistons.

Oh ok. I only said the 4afe because I saw someone write about doing it. So 4ag? Whats a shop estimate? Would it cost more than swapping? And would it be hard to do? I really appreciate the help everyone. Im not mechanically SMRT lol. :superconf

from toyotaspeed90: also.... if you just want to build the 7afe..... some 4afe pistons will raise compression, thinner headgasket will do the same as well.....

    Thats where I got confused.
