    Software for editing raw images - nikon

    Anyone use nikon d-slr? i am looking for a good software that will open and edit the ram image format.

    photoshop 7 or higher can open raw format images.

    7 requires a patch you can download from adobe's site.

    i have tried with photoshop 7 and photoshop cs. they won't open nikon raw images straight from the camera. i haven't tried the patch from adobe's site, but i will go take a look and see what they have available.

    i use acd see pro 8 and or photoshop cs2. if you use a mac, apeture is an awesome program too
