replace the whole engine. I'm going to have to replace my transmission with a lower miles one because mine is history.

my transmission is new as of last novemeber (well fully rebuilt)

i could 2zz swap it...only problem is id have to freight ship it to my town house with no garage and simple hand tools to put it in with =] (btw its moviestar)

how much do engine rebuilds run? we've already discussed the new car situation. i refuse.

haha we were together all day today. toyota meet + after cruise =]

im kinda thinking i might be able to get a decently good shape 1zz for a grand or so....because that head is going to cost 800 but i get the core refunded....so i will probably end up spending maybe 500 (with shipping) but id need to get it freight shipped somewhere..

my options now are....take apart my car and ship them my head....then they ship it back redone......but i dont have acar for 2 weeks.

second option would be to swap a 1zz with vvti becuse everything they have is for a 1zz with vvti.

third option is just to buy a new car which isnt really an option. considering i dont have enough money.

It doesn't sound that bad. Try using some 89 octane or higher next time.
