    So i was blessed tonight.

Tonight god wished me amazing luck.
Me, pat, and a girl friend of ours went to go get food, all of a sudden pat freaks out. Well, pat gives orders for melissa to turn around and go back into this dealership lot, we go back, and low and behold there is Mario (the local heart surgeon) and his fiancee in his brand new GT3. Pat knows his fiancee better than he knows Mario so we pull up and start talking. She gets out of the car and goes "here, hop in, Mario said he'll take you guys for a ride"

Well Pat goes for a ride first, and i noticed, as he takes off..no tire spin..nothing. Just straight acceleration, shifted in like a split second, chirped second slightly and was off.

Well me and melissa make chit chat with his fiancee for a bit (Tanner is her name)
And they come rollin back up, I can see pat with a HUGE grin. He gets out of the car and he just shakes his head, so then I get in.

I buckle up, introduce myself, thank him over a million times and tell him there is no possible way I can thank him enough. The man is the nicest rich fellow i've ever met. Hates talking about money, loves talking about cars and racing. (he races also)
So, as we get onto the road, he doesn't take off because there is traffic but we get up to the light and take a left to get on the highway.
He takes a left onto the off ramp and doesn't really get on it, he's going about 50 and having trouble getting on because two semi's don't get over right away.....well finally one of them gets over and passes us doing..maybe 65.
The semi is a bit ahead of us and we are parallel with it's trailer, all of a sudden, a heal-toe downshift comes out of no where, and just like that, the semi stops. And we wind out (what i think is second gear) the gear, which takes no time, and it's pulling very nicely. He goes right into third which was a split second, and winds it out about 70-80% and then stops, the speedometer read 115. He hits the brakes REAL quick like because we were coming over a hill, checks, no cops, downshifts again and we are off, this time, when i go to look over we are already at 130 and rounding a nice corner passing some dude with easy.
Mind you there is no wind noise, nothing. Nothing vibrates, it feels just as smooth running 50 and is does 130. (and it runs 175 just as it does 130, so he told us later on)
So, it's time to turn around and we are going about..90, there is a small turning lane to the left...SMALL turning lane. We pass the start of the turning lane at 90, and he slams on the brakes...and we stop. And i mean stop. It felt like 10 fucking feet. We just stopped. Thats about as good as I can put it. And we went from 90-10(15 or so) in a stupid amount of time, and WAY before the turning lane ended. So we get going the other way on the highway and he winds 1st out and second (no tire spin) and starts to go into 3rd and lets off. From there on out it was the small ole stuff and we made our way back to the dealer lot.

    Facts about the car:
Changing the clutch is a 15 minute job. The engine doesn't drop, the tranny does drop, the two actually split just enough for the clutch to come right out and be replaced just as easily.

Bleeding the brakes is just turning a valve by the brakes, putting a tube on it and puttin it into a bucket and then pumping the break pedal to get it all out, take the tube off, close the valve and poor in the brake line fluid.

The car's suspension can be set how he wants it in no time with this tool they gave him.

The cars engine sets back behind the rear axle and gives it a 40(front) 60(back) weight distribution. This is so that when he brakes, it evens out to a perfect 50-50, and when he accelerates, all the weight goes into the back, leaving him with no tire spin.

The 13inch ceramic brakes on the front and 11in on the back make the thing stop on a fucking dime. He also noted that "these tires don't do the brakes justice, only racing slicks will bring out the best in them".
Oh, and they spark really pretty too.

Whenever you blow a piston in the car, you simply pull up the carpet in the back, open the little hatch, you can get to the piston from inside the car, pull the piston, pull the sleeve, put the new sleeve in, put the new piston in, and take off with nothing wrong.

The driver's seat sits lower than the passengers seat (this was an option) and the reason is for more helmet room.

If jesus came back to earth, i'm pretty sure this is what he'd drive.

He owns 1 of (roughly) 700 in America. And he owns 1 of the 2 in Indiana.

Me and pat are suppose to call him tomorrow to go see all of his cars
    (1 Boxster, 1 Boxster S, 1 race 944, 1 GT3, 1 STi (475 hp at the crank), and...something else i'm forgetting)
And, i will DEFINITELY have the camera there taking tons'o'pictures

Oh, and about the 175...he was out relieving stress one night (he drives the car to relieve stress after a hard days of heart surgery) and was winding out the gears...got to the top of 4th gear and said to himself "how fast am I going?" looked down and saw 175. That was at the top of 4th gear. Thats the fastest he has gone in it and he said he didn't realize it, it was that stable and quiet.

He also said that someday he'll take us out during the day and "really go fast".

But it sounds reasonable, being that is a race car, and everything is setup for time so...

    EDIT:
To make up for the pictures i don't have..here is my friend melissa i guess:

Great story man, those cars are sick!!! There is a guy at autocross that has taken me for a ride in his 911 Turbo 3.6...modified!!!! Now that car was crazy, the guy has thrown $40K in mods in that car!!! He touched the accel. and you were glued to the seat so fast...he turned the wheel and you turned, touched the brakes and like you said, the car stopped!!! Have to love those cars.
