Signal Lights

I am sure this has probably been posted before, and I tried to find it, believe me. I am wanting a amber bulb that only goes on when I signal. As most of you 03/04 corolla owners know, when we turn on our head lights, that bright yellow comes up and it totally kills the look. Anyone know of a bulb that only goes amber when you signal, but stays off when the headlights are turned on? My friend found a bulb for his protege and it looks awesome, figured there would be something for our cars as well.

there's a silverstar turn signal bulb that's only amber when it blinks. i dunno what size would fit the rolla's but it's simple enuf to find out, just see what bulb's already there... i'd do it but its raining right now. anyway hope that helps

Simple. The 3157(front signal bulb) has two circuits. 3156(rear signal bulb) has one circuit. If you want, just swap them around. But the rear one is clear, so you might wwant to buy an amber 3156 bulb. Hope this helps. This is just by assumption. I'm not 100% sure that it will work. But logically, it should.

Or... just cover one of the contacts with a nonconductive material.

I think im going to try and find that silver star bulb. I hope you guys are right about that model number....
