yeah , thats a 94 grille , i just got a 96-97 grille for it , ill probably do the emblem removal to the old 94 grill . i like the shape of the newer grill , it looks a little more "speedy".:):)

heres a pic of the new grille compared to the old grill.

    Nice! Is that a manual?

It would look real bad ass if you remove the logo on the grille. Especially with those headlights.

what the "scoops"? i made them myself , they used to duct air to my SRI , when i did my true CAI , they served no purpose , hence i relocated my filter to where the oem drier box was in the bumper . i just removed the ducting and cut into the slash guard so that they route CA to my a/c evap and radiator to help cool my engine further , it works so what the hell . as for the opening in the bumper , i installed the "speed grill" in the hole opening and it was so big , it didnt look right so i put in those seperators . all the parts i made are from 22 ga. steel . the steel is from white trim for building refridgerated warehousing (thats what i do). this is where my filter is now.

i do agree there , but their handbent with vice-grip style folding tongs , it is 20-22 gauge steel , that would have been rough and i myself couldnt have got it symetrical . they are made out of 12 " wide flat metal for trimming refridgerated warehouses , it was an art in itself to get the folds to fall right , and to get them the same height and width. i bet i made 7 of these , these are the ones most symetrical.

Yes, it is, and I am stating it. You want everyone to post up about your pics telling you only that they like it??

Im not sure I understand their functionality over stock

my corolla tended to run a little warmer than most 7th gen.'s , i was gonna take em off after the intake was rerouted , but then i thought about the warm temperature of the engine , and decided to direct them to the radiator . i had to remove the low pressure a/c line on the compressor to get the 1.8 header to fir my 1.6 (o2 sensor location). now that my a/c is not operational , the condenser will be removed soon , sending air directly to the radiator.:) im runnin low temp on the highway when wind can be scooped up , but in the city , its the same warm operation temp. so they are functional:)

No problem man....you wont ever see me making a downright cut on someones car. Everyone has different tastes. I think I would like them better if the corners were rounded off, to resemble the curve of the bumper.

Did you make the scoops with sheet metal or fiberglass?

haha, sweet headlights! They are definitely better than stock, but the beam patern could be better with HID's. How you liking them so far?

there good , i have silverstar 9005/9006 right now , i dont really like the look of colored HL bulbs . as for the lights they are a major improvemant over stock lighting . i wanted the j-spec lights but when i was buying lights , they nor the grill was available. i also have heard that the beam pattern on the j-spec lights were weak .so i went with these. but overall in appearence and performance i like these.:)

if you're having heat issues an aftermarket radiator and lower temp thermostat would make a huge difference.

yep , but im saving for some suspension parts first , the scoops can handle it for now:)

as for the tach , im 6'3" sit in an ae102 , and tell me where you see to put a 4 1/2" tach , my choices were slim on that application.

I say wait and save up for a better setup. K-sports are okay, the ride is decent... but the built quality could've been better. Only issue i have with them are the sway bar/ brake line mounts. Lack there of. It was just something I rather not have dealt with. Then again, you get what you pay for. They're better than stocks, i give it that.
