should i get a trueno or levin instead?

Hey guys, im probably going to give up my rolla. It feels like she got f**ked and I don’t want her ne more… ne ways… that’s besides the point… what you guys think of an ae86? Ae88? Or ae92? Trueno or Levin? Any recommendation? Is a manual swap easy to do for that car? Is 4g expensive for a fixed up one? Or is 1000 good for a used one? Stock.

if it's not right hand drive with a JDM motor in it, i wouldn't call it a trueno..it's still simply a 1985-1987 toyota corolla..and levin? good luck getting one into america

I thought the ae86 trueno is suppose to be better than levin? twin cam versus single. I might just be dreaming it though.

    haha...no, i really meant fuckus.

although the SVTs have potential...they're slow grocery getters, just like 99.9999999% of Corollas.

the only thing really going for them is they're direct from Europe...

but that discussion is for another thread entirely.

youre friend is either hella JAY DEE EM!11!!one or he is a fucking stupid ass ricer who thinks he knows anything..... yet doesnt

in america, from the model years 1984 to 1987 all rwd corollas were designated by the chassis code ae86..... ae86 does not denote the year of the vehice, my 1985 toyota corolla GTS is not an ae85 it is a TOYOTA COROLLA GTS and has the chassis code ae86. there was an ae85 chassis in japan, but we never saw that here in the united states..... EVAR!!!! that means all rwd sr5 toyota corollas produced for the united states between the model years 1984 to 1987 had the same chassis code as all GTS corollas designated as AE86.... that applies to coupes and hatchbacks

its a chassis code not a model of vehicle, the model is COROLLA not ae86. in japan the words for 86 are "Hachi Roku" not "HATCHI" therefore youre ignorant friend of a friend who says a coupe isnt a "HATCHI" is a douche sandwich
