Engine short shifter for an Automatic.

    short shifter for an Automatic.

    I wanted to install a short shifter for my Automatic. Basically, I'm considering installing an lcd screen where the two pockets are above the shifter, and if the shifter was about 2 inches shorter it would pretty much be clear of the screen. I have the screen set up right now, but it's just standing on the door to the upper pocket. Thanks in advance.

    You might be able to but it out and reweld or rethread it, but I wouldn't. I would find another way to mount it first.
