Metal will oxidize when heated, so you'll have to apply it over and over. I use Mother's metal polish for my parts. Of course, I got tired of polishing my exhaust tip and painted it black instead. :D

    shining chrome/shining stainless

Hi, I want tricks on how to shine my stainless pipe cuz there are rust marks on it (because of the bolts) and it's not shiny enough...I want to clean my chrome emblems and bumper lip but when I clean them, marks appear after a while so they don't stay as shiny as I want...

they sell materials to shine stainless and chrome in the store (check the grocery store if you don't see anything at an auto part store)...though keep in mind, it won't stay shiny for long.

PS: the word is shiny/shining, not shinny/shinning. ;)

thanks... I already have a product like that but as you say it doesn't stay shinnny for long. so I suppose that I have to apply the product more often... I'm driving about 100mi/day so my car only stays clean one day...

Black ceramic caliper paint. You can also use high temperature engine paint, but that requires time to cure. If you do paint it, remember to sand it pretty well or else the paint will flake off.
